Work by Paulette Cassidy
Here are a couple of photos of the bag I just finished for my sister; it is a modification of your Home Sweet Home design
I left out the middle row of windows and added a green base to it, also took the lady with the poodle from sac de ville and digitised a for sale sign
My sister has a poodle and is blonde she is a real-estate agent and is in the process of selling a property for us, this is a thank you gift for her.
I added a zip to the top of the roof and made the side sections of the roof soft so that they close up and create a sloping roof the bag is lined in side with pink check gingham. I put very stiff interfacing in the bottom sections and ridgeline (a boning ) in the side seams of the lower sections and also across the top of both roof sections and a hard base in the base of the bag.
Hope you like my interpretation
Kindest regards as always
Home Sweet Home by Patricia Bridge
I just have to send you a couple of shots of my Home Sweet Home. It has taken me a long time but at last it is finished.
It will be going to my local Pfaff shop for display, as it was stitched on my 2140 sewing machine and next year I will enter it in the Toowoomba Show in a class for articles made with an embroidery machine.
I didn't use your colour schemes exactly but I had a great deal of fun.
Yours Patricia Bridge, Toowoomba
