Piping

Made the piping using a thick cord which was the same fabric as the cushion I then made piping which was thinner in a contrasting fabric. Over the top of the contrasting fabric piping I stitched in a similar colour thread as the cushion a buttonhole stitch. This makes the cushion look smart.

Stitching the two layers of piping together using the piping foot.

Photo showing you the two piping’s stitched together and then stitched to the cushion.
